We accept all types of hair, human hair (Please, top of head hair ONLY), animal hair and fur clippings (ie. dog, cat, rabbit, horse), and waste wool (alpaca, llama, buffalo, sheep...)

We can also take chemically treated hair from cancer patients.

We cannot take synthetic hair.

We prefer to have hair/ fur come loose in boxes from salons & groomers, as it saves time and funding. But we do receive many individual envelopes and we do keep all the letters. They show the press just how globally community building this program is.

We will always encourage and accept the philanthropic impulses and donations that connect everyone through this program!
